Smart Content Blocks (“the App”) is a Shopify app developed by Advance Apps, a developer based in India (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what information the App handles when a merchant installs and uses it.

Information we collect

When you install the App, Shopify shares your store’s domain and an access token with us. While you use the App, Shopify’s session can also include basic details about the staff account using it, such as name and email. We store this only to authenticate you and operate the App.

Content you create in the App (headings, text, images, links, and display conditions) is stored in your own Shopify store, not on our servers. Images you upload are saved to your store’s Files.

The App does not collect, store, or process information about your customers or orders, and it does not use tracking or analytics.

How we use information

Only to provide the App’s features:

• authenticating requests from your Shopify admin,
• saving your content blocks and images to your store,
• showing where the App’s theme block is placed in your published theme (read-only; theme files are never changed).
• checking your plan (Free or Pro) with Shopify, to apply the Free plan’s limits.

Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your information. Our infrastructure providers process data on our behalf only to run the App: Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database).

Retention and deletion

When you uninstall the App, we delete your store’s session data. Your content blocks are stored in your store as App data, which Shopify manages. Images you uploaded through the App stay in your store’s Files (Content → Files) until you delete them there. Shopify’s data-deletion requests are handled automatically. You can also ask us to delete your data at any time by emailing cloudopshq@gmail.com.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you by emailing cloudopshq@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.

Changes

If this policy changes, we update the date at the top of this page.
